Series

From the beginning, Maria Lagrange's work was built into Series that dealt with various plastic and social concerns that the artist went through throughout 35 years of production and history.

List of Series and years of production:

The following list indicates the themes and the years of creation and production of the various investigations in their central moment, including visual work, theoretical work and various manifestations with the public. Later, many of these series are retaken and expanded at other times in a more specific way, which is why it is essential to identify the date of the pieces in order to understand the motivation for retaking previous series, while investigating another series to be able to establish bridges and crossings from one investigation to another.

This web of contents are revealing of the various encounters and initiatory passages that the artist goes through to end in her most important theoretical work: The Manifesto of the GRADUAL FIGURATION that she presented at the Argentine Embassy in Paris, on April 1, 2014, together with an exhibition of paintings and a Performance tribute to the first manifesto "DaDá Manifesto" by Tristan Tzara, the founding text of this new era of visual artists committed to the collective construction of society.
